이곡을 알게 된 계기는 세브란스:단절(Severance) 시즌 2 마지막 장면에서이다. 물론 오리지널 곡은 아니지만 세브란스에 나오는 OST여서 좋은 것도 있고 내가 듣기에 가장 마음에 들어서 골라 보았다.

아우티(outty)의 연인(outty)을 구해 보내고 이니(inny)는 끝내 같이 가지 않았다. 자신(inny)의 연인(inny)을 선택하는 주인공. 이니들은 모두 갖혀있다. 이 반란으로 그들은 모두 소멸될 것이다.

서로의 눈을 바라본다. 슬픔이기도 하고 기쁨이기도 하고 절망이기도 하고 서로에 대한 신뢰이기도 하다.

이니들은 서로 손을 잡고 어디론가 달려간다. 끝없는 미로를 달린다. 빠져 나올 수 없다. 그래도 뛰어야한다. 서로가 있으니까.

역시 Severance 영상과 같이 보면 감정이 더 강렬하게 느껴진다.
